"The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few."   Matt 9:37

This site serves one main purpose, namely to present, for the first time on the internet before Hungarian readers, the best of English puritan literature translated into Hungarian along with some other solid, popular Christian literature from other sources. At this present time there are about 50 books on this site (more than 200 MB) ready to be absorbed by seeking Hungarian readers. Our target people are those who seek for the Truth as well as those who wish to grow in grace. In this endeavor we had two Hungarian Publishing Companies that gave us permission and the right to publish their books: Evangeliumi Kiado & Koinonia.

I was born and raised in Oradea, Romania, where my parents did everything they could to provide me with all the necessary means by which they could launch a prepared and educated individual into the ocean of human life with a career. I wanted to become a physician, but in spite of all the studying and preparing, I failed the entrance test to the university. By the time I awoke from my great disappointment, I found myself wearing the uniforms of the Romanian Armed Forces, a mandatory sixteen month service for all males in that country. After completing the military service, I decided to leave the country illegally and start a new adventure by exploring the wild west of that time. In the fall of 1989, I fled Communist Romania into Hungary and eventually ended up in a refugee camp in Austria where I had to wait another year and a half before the UN decided about my destiny.

It was there in that refugee camp that God, through young American missionaries, gave me the grace of hearing about the precious gospel of Jesus Christ. His Holy Spirit convicted me of my sins, and after about three months of spiritual despair, I surrendered my will and my life to Him who proved to be my Savior and  constant lover of my soul. I knew right away that everything else is really dung and trash compared to this wonderful treasure I found in the salvation of His Cross on Calvary. He made me spiritually alive, and I realized that my life had to be totally surrendered to His service. I also knew that He had a definite plan for me and that He had called me into the ministry.

In January of 1991, the UN decision finally arrived, and I was sent to New York City where another chapter of my life started its course under the help and sponsorship of my dad’s cousin, Julius Erdei. God used him greatly to give me a start and to help me in many ways in this land of opportunities. I started to work and study again. Computer programming seemed a challenging field so I worked hard and found myself fulfilling my old dream as I started to climb the ladder of human accomplishments. I worked as a computer programmer until the fall of 1996 when, after becoming a US citizen, God powerfully convinced me again that my place is not in the world's affairs but in His service. I surrendered again and moved back home permanently to Oradea, Romania.I worked in the ministry at First Hungarian Baptist Church of Oradea, where God gave me another great gift in meeting my wife Matilda, who continually proves to be a God given blessing to me as she helps and supports me in our common goal of serving God with our lives as a family as well. In the summer of 2000 we decided to visit the US together for a short while. This time we started off by coming to the South and settling in Hickory, NC, where God has blessed us with a little son, Benjamin who even now is our family’s constant joy and energy source.

God did not forget about us but gave us another unique opportunity when I received a gracious invitation from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary to come and study in Wake Forest.

I was and I am still convinced that if I place my neck in this yoke, there is no return and that the office of a pastor is not just another career but the most serious calling a person can have, loaded with holy responsibilities and hard work: "No man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God” (Heb 5:4).  I am convinced that God called me personally to this duty and that there are many tasks awaiting me as I step out in faith to fulfill His call.

We lived for three and a half years on the campus of that Seminary. I have graduated from college in the spring of 2005. On October the 4th of 2005 we moved back home to Romania where we resumed the ministry. We thank God for allowing me to study at such a great school and under such a great leadership. We would like to use this opportunity and space to thank God Almighty for placing this desire of ministering to our people in our hearts. Our families are here, our relatives are here, our brothers and sisters are here, our friends are here, and most importantly, thousands of people who do not know Christ, are here. Knowing all this, it would be a sin for us to minister and to serve God elsewhere in this world. May He find us faithful to His holy and inspired word! At the same time we would like to ask each and every concerned soul to pray for us! This we need the most because God is the only one who can keep us and properly prepare us for the ministry and who alone is our help in the years to come.
